The Dissipation of Our Bodies Into the City is the first gallery exhibition in the United States by the Austrian architecture office Coop Himmelb(l)au. Their work incorporated criticism, sculpture, prose, poems, urban planning, manifestos, projects, actions, statements, sketches, and commentary to support experimentations in space. The exhibition included photographs of their three previous projects, a series of large photocopy-based drawings, and collages. Also included are manipulated blueprint images titled The First New Step into New York: the bodies disappear, and the structure remains.
